Back when he was just a tiny fluff, Sam (aka Samwise Gamgee) would lounge in a cozy scarf around my neck, quietly supervising while I painted many of the original WhimZaCritters. His little squeak of a meow was as soft as he was.

These days, he’s all grown up, has fully found his voice, and isn’t shy about using it—whether it’s time for a treat, a sibling has been most unfairly left outside, or he’s due for snuggles. He’s purr-fect.
