Each of these new images began as a simple sketch, then came to life as I put watercolor paint to paper.
I giggled out loud as I added the finishing touches to some of them, as I fell in love with their adorable personalities.
And when I held the finished stickers and cards in my hands, my heart was overflowing with gratitude that it leaked out my eyes.

From snapping a photo of a Twisted X boot while boot shopping, to sending it to our son, because it reminded me of something he would likely wear, to a tiny painting challenge, and finally a full sized watercolor painting & doodles, along with a pleathora of gift items I hadn’t initially imagined, I present to you…

I was inspired to paint it for the 2026 Nebraska Cattleman’s Ball as one of the first ever original WhimZadoodles that will be for sale. It’s a painting I’m so proud of, because I’ve had so little watercolor training and I think it turned out exceptionally well.
