COZAD
Cozad is both a name and location. Home of the Haymakers, it sits near the 100th Meridian in Nebraska and is named for it’s founder, John J. Cozad, who saw the 100th Meridian sign while riding across the prairie in the late 1800’s and decided to come back and build a town here - founded in 1873.
Today, 4,000 people (give or take 13) live here. It’s where I’ve called home for more than half my life and raised our sons with my husband. We’ve made friends that have become as close as family and have no plans to ever leave.
Whether you’re a Haymaker student, teacher, have called Cozad home or have the name as part of your history, this sticker is a fun way to show your Cozad pride and gift to others who have ties to it.
