SEAMORE the SEA TURTLE
There’s so much to adore about sea turtles; their gentle grace, large soulful eyes, and naturally happy facial features. In many cultures they represent longevity, wisdom, and tranquility, and often symbolize a deep connection to nature and the ocean, evoking a sense of calm and awe.
Seamore is a chill sea turtle that represents many things with his Polynesian inspired tattoos. As I painted him, each tat had meaning to me, but what’s more important is what those may mean to you or the person you gift Seamore to.
This is what his tattoos meant to me:

DIAMONDS with WINGS - Polynesian symbol for protection. It’s over a series of ovals with a dot in the center. I added these in honor of my daughter-in-love who has struggled with infertility. The combined symbols represent protection over viable eggs in her ovaries. She has been through a lot and I wanted to honor her struggle and hopefulness our family holds in our hearts.
